Glenbruach is ideally situated for most outdoor activities, climbing, fishing, bird watching and cycling all on the doorstep. Horse riding and golf are close by.

All these within easy travelling distance from both Glasgow and Edinburgh (one hour by car).

The nearest town is the popular tourist destination of Callander, which is eight miles away on the Trossachs trail (A821). The trail also takes many people to Loch Katrine which is one mile distant. Sir Walter Scott immortalised Loch Katrine in his famous 'Lady of the Lake'. A steam ship still ferries tourists along the loch.
